Zam Zam is an absolute gem on Haight Street. The decor is gorgeous - richly eclectic and full of character. It has that perfectly worn-in charm that makes the place feel authentic and timeless rather than polished and generic. Every detail adds to the vibe. The bartender was friendly and welcoming. You can tell this is the kind of bar that people come back to again and again. Great drinks, warm energy, and one of the most unique interiors in the city. A true SF classic.

Usually never leave North Beach when I’m in SF, but will always make an exception to get over to the Haight for Zam Zam. Nice to drink in bars that have dome history and style. Not a whole lot left anymore

Cool spot, unfortunately bartender is very rude. I came in for a drink and before sitting down I went to take a photo of the backdrop; before I could take a photo she yelled at me in front of everyone “don’t just come in here and take a photo without getting anything, none of us want to be in your stupid photo.” Needless to say I did not want to stay for a drink after being publicly shamed. Unfortunate, because I really would have liked to stay!
