Nkiruka Pedro-Iyalla★★★★We didn't know what to expect when we booked. The reviews online seemed fair enough and the price per day wasn't too high. At first, we got a room on the top floor but we kept bumping against the slanting ceiling. If you're average height, it's a no-no. We asked for another room and the staff promptly obliged. Our 2-week stay was really pleasant. The staff were polite and really helpful. The Shisha Garden & Restaurant on the ground floor added spice to the hotel in the evenings and during weekends. The design has an exotic feel to it with lots of sculpture and works of art displayed. Access
Gregory Hall★★★★★Very good and unusual restaurant which has to be seen in person to believe!!! Incredible opportunity to see a Greek style decoration with a tree actually growing from the cellar. Up throughout the ground floor and up to first floor roof level. Truly amazed by the decoration and amenities provided. Worth a look at on it's own! The owner is a remarkable artist who has turned the hotel into a true masterpiece. He handcrafted impressive mosaics that can be admired both inside the hotel and in the enchanting Shisha Garden. His ceramic figurines are equally stunning, each one a unique work of art. The mornings were particularly special: the owner made us fresh coffee and warm pastries, and we spent time chatting with him. He even shared the stories behind his impressive ceramic creat
Pete Gilbert★★★★★Very clean pleasant rooms and generously laden with freebies such as toiletries, water and biscuits. The best part is the bar and restaurant downstairs. The food is top quality and the room has to be seen to be believed as no 2D photo will do it justice. It is like stepping into Wonderland with Alice. The staff are lovely as well; attentive, helpful and genuinely charming. I had an early start the next day so was disturbed by the music until 1am but it is worth a little lack of sleep for the spectacular visual experience and warm welcome I received. Tunes were good too. This place is like nowh
