Food wise this place was excellent. The mix grill was flavorsome and filling. The biriyani dice was also delicious (although the portion was unnecessarily huge). Shisha was decent, not great. It quickly started turning harsh which is usually an indication the piples are not cleaned or maintained well. Worth a one time visit for that. The atmosphere is quite outdated but if that isn't a bother, go for the food.

Al Khaleej restaurant Danyal was so hospitable, immediately made me feel welcome and treated with love. The service is absolutely incredible. Located in the Arabic district just off Sukhumvit the main strip. Walking distance to the BTS train station. This area does not sleep Bangkok through and through. Safe but as always keep your eyes open and your bags in front of you. Never felt unsafe but when on the train they announce, watch your bags. Plenty of street vendors and shopping for anything from real unwatered down colognes made from essential oils like sandalwood from people's backyards
