Great food. We tried the Istana Sangkut Nasi Goreng with sambal chicken, Nasi Goreng sambal chicken, bubur nyonya and also chicken chop. All the food served were delicious. Worth coming here as food served are value for money. Great ambience to chill at night with friends as they have shisha also. They are closed till late so do drop by.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve ordered the creamy Tom Yum pasta by Kapal Besar every time I visit Istana Sangkut. It’s hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. Although the consistency of the gravy and the texture of the spaghetti can vary a little sometimes, it’s still always enjoyable. I highly recommend everyone who visits here to give it a try. At RM22, you get a generous portion and 3 fresh prawns, which is definitely worth it. I’d rate it a solid 10 out of 10

Nice place to hang out around with friends. The foods quite nice as well. We order nasi istana sangkut (great taste), nasi geprek (the sambal super spicy 👍) and grilled chicken (good also). The waiter quite friendly and service good.
