How to Clean a Hookah
A clean hookah tastes better and lasts longer. It only takes a few minutes if you do it after each session. Here's the routine.
After every session
Rinse the base and stem with warm water while everything's still slightly warm — old residue is much harder once dry. Empty and rinse the bowl. Blow water through the hose (if it's washable) and hang it to dry.
Deeper clean
Use a hookah brush on the stem and base weekly, with warm water and a little lemon or baking soda for stubborn residue. Avoid harsh detergents that leave a taste. Let everything dry fully before storing.
