My husband and I dined at Bab El Sharq at the Ritz Carlton in Cairo and wow…what an amazing experience we had. From food to service to atmosphere…this place has it all. We were personally greeted by Mr. Jaafar Sleiman, the restaurant manager. Not only is he super nice but he also went above and beyond in every way to make sure we enjoyed our dining experience. He is such an attentive and caring person. He made us feel at home and his staff were very professional, service-oriented and warm. The live entertainment they provide is the cherry on top. You will not be bored. We just can’t say enough

Was close to our hotel. Wanted a calm night after touring Cairo all day They had live Arabic music with belkydance performance. Both were fantastic. Enjoyed the mix of Arabic classics and newer songs. With the singers regularly engaging the crowd. We were celebrating a birthday and came to sing for us with cake. The food was upto standered for such a venue. Good variety of traditional Arabic food. Fresh ingredients. The grilled prawns were the only negative. With them being tough to chew and having general lack of flavour. The dessert however made up for it, with the ummali the highlight. Topp

Seated outdoor with some live music performance. Food was alright , nothing amazing but huge portion. But Ritz - why do you charge me a 9% entertainment fee for a show that I didn’t ask for?
