We dropped into Amaraya Resto-Café in Saint-Laurent for a quick break, coffee, something sweet, and shisha. The service was friendly and attentive, and our dessert was genuinely excellent (fresh and really well presented). The place has a lively, welcoming vibe and a broader menu beyond cafés and sweets, so it feels like somewhere you could easily stay longer for a proper meal. It’s also handy that they’re open into the evening, which makes it a great spot for a late catch-up. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the food options.

The food is not good at all, barely even edible. We were shocked that they actually served us this disappointing food. Everything tasted frozen. The lahmajoun was soggy and my friend also had a slice of soggy bread with her chicken dish which was completely unnecessary. I do not recommend this place at all if you enjoy eating good food. The music is good.

Exceptional Shisha Lounge & Dining Experience! 🌟 From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and inviting. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely outstanding — fresh flavors, beautifully presented dishes, and generous portions. Good food and good shisha. However, the service needs improvement. On several occasions, it took asking 3–4 times just to get water or get a server’s attention. We often had to make multiple requests before anyone responded. This has happened on at least three different visits. The waiters tend to stay near the bar and don’t pay much attention to customers in the seating area. The food and shisha are enjoyable, but the lack of attentive service takes away from the overall experience.
