I got an Arabic/Turkish coffee with Baklava there. If you’re looking for a coffee that tastes and smells distinct it is where to go. A bit expensive but worth trying. Then you could decide to go once more or not. I liked the place and atmosphere and found Ashraf, the owner, approachable. The plaques on the wall are also pretty cool.

A slice of Egypt right there on 17th Ave. The owner is a delightful, friendly and welcoming Egyptian. We ordered the Nile Special Grill for 2, see pic. Freshly cooked and full of flavour. The green tea has fresh mint in it. Please support this wonderful local business, they will appreciate you and they will treat you to authentic Egyptian food.
